Amazon wants in your house while you’re not home.
|Amazon, in all their creepiness, now wants to come in your home when you aren’t there. Testing a new service next month called Amazon Key, the online retail giant wants to be able to step inside your front door to drop off a package. The service works by purchasing a Wi-Fi connected lock, only from Amazon of course, for the not so low low price of 250$. After installation and set up, just select “in-home” delivery. A camera, provided with the lock, starts recording as the delivery man requests entry to your home, and then locks behind him as he leaves.
So not only does Amazon listen to all the things you do in your home, now they want to let themselves in. Would you install a such a device on your front door, especially with all the news lately?
