Angry Birds gets updated for Android
|Angry Birds, the very popular game for Android has now been updated with 45 new levels, a new storyline and a new bird. Looks like there might also be some bug fixes in there as well. Went to download this for the Dell Streak and naturally it did not work. Unless you have the beta version of Angry Birds, the Marketplace version will not play on Android 1.6. So unless you want to go down the “rooting” path, you are going to be waiting (and waiting) for the Froyo rollout on the Dell Streak which is supposed to be coming late this month. Let’s just hope that Turkey is not the only bird we can look forward to on Thanksgiving!
You can grab the game via the Android Marketplace.

I was able to get Angry Birds on my Archos 5it that runs 1.6. It isn’t rooted but there is a minor hack to allow the marketplace access.
I actually completely agree with your opinion. It’s so perfect. I think it’s necessary for me. Thank for help!
