Even though speculation has been building on this conversion with several acquisitions on Apple’s part to support it, BGR has obtained exclusive photo’s and information from a “trusted source” that confirms that we will have a change in iOS 6.

The phone version of Maps will have a floating locate me button and in the bottom corner access to the 3D mode which will utilize technology obtained from their acquisition of C3 Technologies.
