Ballmer: Kinect > WP7, Tablets Coming Christmas, Android is Fragmented

The one reason I like keeping Ballmer around for his sound bites. Take today for example. In one speech he said:

Between WP7 and Kinect, Kinect was the device he was “most keen on”

“Unlike Google, if you write an app for Windows Phone 7, it will work on all Windows phones. We got ourselves in to a little bit of a pickle with phones, but now we’re on track”.

"You’ll see slates with Windows on them – you’ll see them this Christmas.”

    Kinect is actually something new, WP7 is a rehashing of a smartphone OS with a new UI.

    i preffer the images to the soundbytes, just look at the face on the large tile there, how can you not feel good about yourself after seeing that?
