Microsoft Giving All New Owners Of Windows Phones $25 To Sweeten The Deal
So you want a new Windows Phone but thinking about the price? Well Microsoft is throwing you $25 if you buy one starting November 2 – December 31. They call it a Prepaid App Program but that’s sort of inaccurate. The terms and conditions state “For each new Windows Phone device you purchase during the offer period, you will receive by mail a prepaid debit card worth $25 USD, perfect to purchase games and applications on the Windows Phone Marketplace (marketplace.windowsphone.com).” So it’s nice if you buy apps but not required. Really, sort of a miss if you ask me. They should just give a $25 account credit and effectively promote themselves. Anyway, still a neat promotion.
