Just received my case/keyboard from Brando.com. Unfortunately I can’t seem to make it work. It does successfully pair to the tablet, but after pairing, the keyboard still isn’t working. the tablet shows the device as ‘Paired” but the Bluetooth light keeps blinking on the keyboard, indicating it isn’t connected. I have tried to contact Brando via e-mail, for some support, but I expect that I’m probably out of luck as it shipped from Hong Kong.
Just received my case/keyboard as well from Brando.com. Same issue, I cannot get the keyboard to work at all. The unit pairs with my tablet sucessfully but the keyboard still will not work. On mine the bluetooth link light stops flashing after a successful pairing(as brandos instructions say it should) but the power light goes out when they say it should stay lit. I have gone thru tech support with my carrier and we have still been unable to get the unit to work. I will post if Brando responds to my requests for assistance
Ditto. Totally frustrating. Pairing but not working.
Not working. Pairs but does not work :{
Verizon has crippled bluetooth human input devices in samsung galaxy tab, therefore this case will not work with them. found out the hard way. Thanks Verizon!
So this wont work on just the verizon tab?
Same issue here with Verizon Galaxy Tab. Is there any type of driver or way to get around this?
I love this case and want to use it.
Just received confirmation from Brando that they will provide a full refund, It seems Sprint has disabled HID device profile in the unit also, I searched for ways around this but nothing is available and Sprint is absolutly 100 % no help whats so ever. Its a shame because this is exactly the add-on this device needs to retain its portability. It appears they can use this keyboard/case in the U.K. but the carriers in the U.S. have it locked out. Ipad is starting to look better all the time.
Brando told me the keyboard does not work with Sprint or Verizon and they will refund me. Oh well.
I have Rooted my Galaxy Tab from sprint so I can use some of the other features they have locked is there anyway to fix this problem with BT once device is Rooted?
How come the keyboard is paired to my tab but still wont type?
