Colorize For WP7 Lets You Keep Some Color In B&W Pics
|Kitron software has already shown us a few apps for Windows Phone 7 and this time they’ve shown a demo of colorize which lets you turn a picture to black and white and then add the color back into the photo in areas you choose to make it pop. It’s a neat effect and it looks like they’ve made it pretty easy to use. The app lets you zoom in and out, pan, rotate, undo any number of brushes, save multiple projects, change brush size, switch to black and white brush for easy correction.
As a side note, this is not the Coulorizer app that MS debuted on stage back in February when they first announced WP7 so it looks like photo editing is getting a healthy amount of third party love already.

Interesting. But wondering how easy this will be to use on a stylus-free device. The mouse pointer in the demo works well, but my finger is a tad larger.
well you can zoom to make it easier. But the app MS showed on stage worked by tapping something and it grabbed the object – not just the point you touched. We’ll have to see what it looks like when released.
