Dell Streak Get’s Video Reviewed

A couple days ago I wrote up a press release from Dell stating that they would be releasing the “Streak” in the UK at O2 Stores sometime in June. In case you missed the Article, you can find it HERE. The Dell Streak is  gorgeous looking 5 Inch WVGA Capacitive Touch Screen Phone Tablet that can be used as a phone having 3G + WiFi + Bluetooth * UMTS / GPRS / EDGE class 12 GSM radio with link speeds of up to HSDPA 7.2 Mbps / HSDPA built right in. But how large is too large? Is this really a tablet that will replace your (cough) iPad, or could it replace your awesome new Telstra HD2 cranking out some 3G goodness on AT&T’s Network?

First, I will say that I am a pretty big guy at 6’4” and I got my hands full with the HD2, so I think it is pretty much a given that one handed operation is out the window with the Streak. But I got say, I like what I see so far but I doubt that this could ever be practical for an everyday phone for someone that makes lots of phone calls. But don’t take my word for it, check out this video from jkkmobile.com. He calls it a first impression video, but it is a LONG first impression video at 24 minutes.

I am going to be very interested to see this device come to the US and what pricing it will get. So what do you think? Drop a comment and let us know.
