Dropbox acquires Mailbox
Remember the Mailbox app, which recently made news that they would provide Mailbox app by invitation, has been acquired by Dropbox. The Dropbox blog says they fell in love with Mailbox app and bought it, https://blog.dropbox.com/2013/03/welcome-mailbox/. Is Dropbox planning to start its own email service as part of its cloud strategy in addition to Cloud Storage?

I applied for the Mailbox when it first came out an still dont have an invitation. As of now, there are 50K in front of me and 500K behind me. This is from 2/14/13 when there was 662K in front of me. This is a retarded roll out, no matter how they justify it.
I got the invitation and my wife and kids are still in waiting line. And I agree with you, for just one app, it doesn’t need this big show.
