Ford Introduces MyFord For The Focus on a Focus

Ford has introduced a new app called MyFord that helps the electric Ford Focus owners find the best time to charge their electric cars and to add to the name confusion, they demoed it on a Samsung Focus, but it will also be available for Android, iPhone and Blackberry. It also uses MapQuest (not Bing Maps) to find charging destinations and to help route trips in a way that will ensure that charging stations are nearby. You can also locate the car, open doors and turn on the heat or AC in as the car warms up. It will also track how you green you drive and give you achievements to post on Facebook. And based on the driver it will adjust the projected car range (for an aggressive compared to a slow driver).

Pretty cool and glad to see a Windows Phone finally getting involved in the car unlocking foray.
