HTC Scorpion With 1.5Ghz Processor Coming To Android?

This is way to good a Rumor to let go by! AndroidSPIN is reporting that HTC is working on a 1.5Ghz Snapdragon Processor that will land sporting an Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system. Said to be a WiMAX Device, the device is currently being codenamed “Scorpion”.

While we here in the US are patiently <cough> waiting for a 1Ghz processor to land, it appears we will have more to look forward to shortly after getting our hands on the T-Mobile HTC HD2 or perhaps the Diamond 3 later this year.

Things have been really hot with Android and now it seems that they are not going to hold back at all going forward with the Scorpion. We’ll keep you posted on any more developments, but for now, just imaging that there is someone figuring out how to make a 1.5Ghz Scorpion come to life!
