IE In WP7 Holds Its Own

PocketNow put the iPhone 4, NexusOne (running 2.2) and a developers LG version of WP7 against each other in a browser speed comparison.  You should remember that the WP7 software is old (it’s actually the same build in the emulator so it’s a bit out of date) and the hardware will never hit the streets and as we know, the hardware is not optimized like the final phones will be. With all those caveats, it still holds its own in terms of browser speed, scrolling smoothness and rotation speed. They may be on to something here.
