JAMBOX by Jawbone Jams
|I am a huge Jawbone fan. They have always been on the fore front of mobile Bluetooth Headset Technology and when I hear that they have just come out with a new product, my first instinct is that it is going to be awesome. Such is the case today with their press release announcing the JAMBOX. JAMBOX by Jawbone – “the world’s first intelligent wireless speaker and speakerphone” is a feature rich speaker that will no doubt perform (I haven’t tested it) up to Jawbones high standards, but what in the world are they thinking with their marketing of their product? The use of a Steve Urkel look a like is some what funny but it has all been done before. Especially when the product selection for their marketing is a red look-a-like to a beginner Lego Block.
Not really sure what the Marketing Team at Jawbone was thinking here but they did get my attention to the product with what in my opinion is not that great of a marketing concept. Jawbone is a market leader in Technology, stick to the playbook guys. In any case, here is a little more about the JAWBOX from Jawbone:
THE BIGGEST SOUND IN THE SMALLEST PACKAGE
JAMBOX delivers stunning stereo audio in a speaker so compact you simply won’t believe it until you hear it. Unlike
other compact speakers, JAMBOX’s sophisticated acoustics bring music, movies and even conference calls,
to life with shimmering highs and thumping bass – all in the palm of your hand.
GO ANYWHERE & GO WIRELESS
JAMBOX is the perfect companion to all your mobile devices. Just place it anywhere in a room and enjoy pristine
streaming audio from your phone, tablet, laptop and other Bluetooth devices. No cord, no docks, no hassles. Take it
with you from room to room or throw it in your bag and enjoy on the go.
IT ONLY GETS BETTER WITH TIME
As the world’s first intelligent speaker, JAMBOX downloads apps, software and new features at Jawbone’s industry-first online platform, MyTALK. It’ll always be up to date. No other speaker system on the planet is intelligent and updateable- then again, nothing else is quite like JAMBOX

And last but not least the JAWBOX from Jawbone comes in a variety of colors other than marketed color of red and is available for (cough) $199.99 at the Jawbone Store (CLICK HERE).
So Urkel + Lego = DJ Jazzy Jeff?
I love it! I used to play with those legos when I was younger… All I remember was that I continually asked for the real legos
