Jeyo Mobile Extender 2.5 For Outlook Released
I have been looking for a way to integrate my Text Messaging into Microsoft Outlook and since I have used in Jeyo in the past, but got away from using it, I decided to check them out. My concern was that it has been along time and much has changed. I am now using Windows 7 and Outlook 2007 and was hopeful that there would be a new version available. To my surprise, Jeyo has just released a new version 2.5 of their Mobile Extender for Outlook on January 30th 2010! But for those of you who don’t know about Jeyo, here is what it does:
Jeyo Mobile Extender adds mobile text messaging capabilities to Microsoft Outlook through your Windows Mobile, Symbian, or Featurephone-based Smartphone. With the Extender installed, you can exchange SMS messages with other mobile phone users anywhere around the world directly from Outlook as well as automatically synchronize all of the text messages stored on your phone for easy offline browsing, printing, and searching. Jeyo Mobile Extender makes text messaging as simple and easy as email.
In fact, Jeyo Mobile Extender offers you better ways to send, receive, manage, and archive your mobile text messages, all using a PC application interface you are already familiar with. It also lets you do what is impossible from your mobile phone – you can compose and view messages written in a language that your phone does not support. When you use Jeyo Mobile Extender, you can "text message" from any place, at any time, and in any language.
Here is what is new in version 2.5:
- Outlook 2007 and Windows 7 compatibility
- Synchronization of text message inbox sub-folders
- Printing
- Texting to distribution lists
- Outlook-style new message notification
- Support for Symbian S60/UIQ
- Support for feature phones including popular Motorola, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung phones
Jeyo Mobile Extender Version 2.5 For Outlook costs $19.95 and can be had by CLICKING HERE.
I have only just downloaded this but I will give you the down low on Jeyo after I put it through it’s paces. If you are currently using Jeyo, let us know what you think!
