Microsoft Confirms Windows Phone 8 Launch Event

The setting will be San Francisco, the date October 29th. We already know that both HTC and Nokia will be releasing their devices in November so hopefully the event involves more detailed information on unannounced consumer features. I’ll hold out hope that the ability to pre-order our favorite devices will be a go too. It sure would be nice to pre-order and receive our phone the next week. Additional details to come as they filter in.
