My Country is Now Available for Free for Android
|Hey Look, another free game for you today! This time it’s for Android though! My Country reminds me of Sim City of sorts.. kinda cool
Game Insight, a fast-growing social and mobile games company, today announced that its second game for Android, My Country, is now available for free. Already a tremendous success on Facebook, My Country is a free-to-play, nation-building game whose realistic management system offers a much more refined and complex experience than its competitors.
At first glance, My Country appears to be similar to others in the category until players begin playing. For example, creating new buildings is pretty standard, however, a unique ecology control system monitors how much overall pollution your city creates and how much energy it consumes, and then asks players to bring it back to balance. These types of situations add an unmatched level of realism to My Country as players face the same virtual challenges that they would in real-life.
Another welcome feature in My Country is the option to purchase anything in the game with both in-game currency or Facebook credits, thus keeping the pace of the game completely in players’ hands. In addition, My Country offers a seamless social integration system whereby players can receive and share awards and achievements with Facebook friends for the ultimate social sim networking experience.
“We are excited to follow-up on the enormous success of Paradise Island on Android with My Country,” said Darya Trushkina, Vice President of Business Development for Game Insight. “My Country lets players experience the complex systems and management issues of constructing a nation and adds real-life challenges to give the game an unmatched realism.”
