NYTimes WP7 (Unofficial) App Is Ready

That didn’t take long. NYTimes has a SIlverlight Kit and Michael Scherotter adapted it to WP7 and by all accounts it seems to have been a painless and simple process. The NYTimes Sivlerlight Kit provides access New York Times APIs for Articles, Best Sellers (books), the US Congress, Movie Reviews, Community Comments, Times Tags, etc. The Articles API is not in WP7 yet. The code is available here as well but we can expect to see this on WP7 if not an updated version.

The dev notes: You’ve heard it before – now all .NET and Silverlight developers are also Windows Phone developers – this is big.

For my two cents, I like where this is all headed.
