Ookla’s Speedtest.net Finally Gets An iPad Version
It’s always handy to know how fast your internet connection is and one of the more popular ways to test it is using Speedtest.net by the fine folks at Ookla. The app for the iPhone is very popular and is a constant on my devices. What happens if you have an iPad though? Well, like many apps like Snapchat, Instagram and Vine you have to deal with the iPhone version on your tablet and deal with the scaling issues. Not any longer Speedtest.net freakz! Ookla just released a nice looking proper App for the iPad.
The App is free for all iOS versions and new version 3.2.0 was just released yesterday.
What’s New in Version 3.2.0
– Universal app supporting iPhone, iPod touch and iPad (which includes landscape mode)
– Speedometer now adjusts dynamically for high speed connections
– Improved server selection user interface
– Many performance optimizations and bug fixes

So, Windows Phone had an Ookla Speedtest app BEFORE the iPad? How about that.
