ScoreMobile Released For Windows Phones
|In December we first learned that ScoreMobile was headed to Windows Phone 7 and it’s now live in the Marketplace for free. For some reason their app description in Marketplace doesn’t show all of the app features. Here’s the iPhone description:
Live coverage for mobile users includes:
– Football (NFL, NCAA, CFL)
– Basketball (NBA, NCAA Men – including March Madness)
– Baseball (MLB)
– Hockey (NHL)
– Mixed Martial Arts (MMA: UFC, Strikeforce etc.)
– Auto Racing (NASCAR Sprint Cup, Formula 1)
– Soccer (EPL/Premier League, Serie A, Liga, UEFA Champions, MLS)
– Golf (PGA)
– Tennis (ATP, WTA)
– Cycling (Tour de France)-We provide access to interactive live blogs for key games across major pro and college leagues.
-You can personalize your Time Zone (game start times) and Favorite teams.
-We also have an integrated video player that includes: ScoreMobile Picks and clips from Tim & Sid, Gerry Dee, Cam "Big Red Zone" Stewart, MMA Show, Footy Show and The Break w/ Renee Paquette.
Here’s the WP7 description:
ScoreMobile provides up-to-the-minute scores, boxscores, fantasy stats, standings, news, betting odds, blogs and video.
Follow NFL, NBA, NCAA Basketball & Football, NHL, EPL, & more!
– Choose your favorite leagues and teams
– Personalize the application to your lifestyle
– Check your team’s TV coverage
In their screenshots you can see video clips so it looks like all of the features are here – just not advertised. From the Marketplace reviews there are some complaints of lagginess in the app but most people still like it. It doesn’t seem to have all of the sports added yet, like tennis is noted as missing. Anyway, it’s there just waiting for you if you want to give it a try.
