Search your FB friends’ photos with Bing

Evidently, we’ve been able to see friends (related) photos on Facebook related to any searches we make.  Yeah, I’ve barely used the sidebar, too.

As of today,  you can also browse your friends photos directly in Bing, using the url http://www.bing.com/friendsphotos/, as well as accessing them through the sidebar.  (You need to be logged into Bing and have  your Facebook account linked, of course.)

You can “like”, see comments, and “share” the photos directly from Bing; however, you cannot like comments.  You can, however, choose “Open in Facebook” and it will open the picture in Facebook in a new tab.

And unlike Facebook, they aren’t filtered with whatever-the-heck stupid algorithm Facebook uses to only show SOME of your friends/pages you follow postings.

And of course MS has something to say about privacy, because we all know that Facebook and privacy go together: “On Bing, your Facebook privacy settings are always respected. Your Facebook friends will only be able to see the photos you have made viewable, and you will only see photos your friends have made viewable, and your photos will never be shared with the public."
