Slacker Integration With Bing Bar Announced
I have every free app for music streaming on my iPhone that is available, but the one I turn to the most and the one I actually pay for is Slacker. I have been pretty happy with my Slacker Premium subscription for several months now and today they just announced they have gotten in bed with the Bing Bar. “The new Bing Bar version provides richer access to social connections, updated versions of the most popular Bing Bar apps, as well as the addition of Slacker Radio.”
"Whether on your phone, in the car, or now on the Bing Bar, Slacker is dedicated to providing easy access to the best radio experience," said Jonathan Sasse, senior vice president of marketing at Slacker. "With a simple click on the Bing Bar, music fans can discover new bands and artists, enjoy the ones they love, or listen to additional content ranging from live sports to news and comedy."
The Bing Bar can be downloaded for free by visiting the Bing Bar page. Current users of Bing Bar will get the upgrade automatically delivered soon or by visiting this link at Discover Bing.

To be clear, Microsoft did put Pandora on notice several months ago. Pandora snubbed their noses and now Microsoft is clearly following through on their intent to push other, competing apps.
