The Amazing Spider-Man Comes to Android Phones

In celebration of the movie release Cellfish has announced that you can now get the officially licensed Amazing Spider-Man 3D live wallpaper for Android devices. I took a look at the description and it’s not that exciting at all, basically it’s his head and you can turn it by swiping the screen. It looks as though there is a free and a paid version which of course offers more features like a soundboard bundle..

Cellfish, a leading mobile and social application developer, has joined forces with Marvel to bring the web-slinging Super Hero, Spider-Man, to Android tablets and phones. The crime-fighter is the star attraction of The Amazing Spider-Man 3D Live Wallpaper, the first app officially licensed based on Columbia Pictures’ hit film, The Amazing Spider-Man, now in theaters.

“Spider-Man is an iconic Super Hero recognized around the world, and we created this app with the fans in mind, giving them several cool ways to express their fandom and personalize their mobile devices like never before,” said Julien Mitelberg, Cellfish Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer.

The freemium version of the application provides access to a stunning live wallpaper design featuring a close-up of Spider-Man’s face. With one swipe of the screen, users can guide Spidey to look in different directions, providing a 180-degree panoramic view of the New York City skyline. Simultaneously, various images reflect in his mask’s mirrored lenses, including Spider-Man’s archenemy the Lizard, his alter ego Peter Parker, and his love interest Gwen Stacy. Premium versions allow users to unlock an alert and soundboard bundle that includes a “Spidey Sense” text message alert and an email alert or the option to purchase a Spider-Man-themed clock and ringtone featuring audio clips from the film. Future updates will include a Spider-Man keyboard skin, available for purchase.
