The HTC Incredible in Pictures
|Yes, it arrived on Friday actually.. but due to the embargo I wasn’t allowed to share the pictures with you, but now it’s 12:01am on Monday so this post should be live! At least I scheduled it to go live at 12:01am, but I don’t know if that’s the same time as the blog is set to.. Oh well, I tried..
First impressions are that it’s a great phone, pretty much any phone from HTC is though isn’t it? Since I’ve only had it since Friday, I really can’t tell you that much about it truly, I need at least a week to play with it to get a feel for it and how it works.. but I do have lots of pictures for you right now to check out so continue on for those..
So we’ll start with the box and contents. It’s a little fairly non-descript box, I expected a big fancy spectacular box, but nope just the plain vanilla Verizon box..
Inside you’ll find the usual documentation, USB power charger and USB cable.
When the phone is off it’s basically a big black screen as you can see from the above shot of it in the box. On the top of the phone is the Verizon logo and a red cover over the speaker, below the screen you’ll find the navigation pad and icons/buttons for home, back, search and menu.
There are not many buttons on the HTC Incredible, on the left side is the volume buttons and the UBS port, while the top has the power button and the audio jack and that’s it really.
On the back you’ll find the 8mp camera with the two LEDs along with the HTC and Google logos
I got a brightly colored surprise when I took off the back cover, wow it’s bright red under there:
There is a microSD slot on the side, I almost missed it really, it blends right in..
The battery is very thin, and it’s a 1300mAH 3.7v 4.81 Whr Li-ion Polymer Battery.
Here’s a couple shots of it on, I took this when I first got the phone, and the battery was basically dead so I didn’t have much time with it..
I’m curious about the 8mp camera, so maybe I’ll take a few pictures later and post them to show you how they look.
As of now though I do like it, I may have found an Incredible reason to switch to Verizon!!
-yeah that was a bad pun but I couldn’t resist it…
Anyway, enough for now, more maybe later this week..
Can you tell us if the Eris battery will work in the Droid Incredible? I see you had another review with the Droid Eris. I really want to know so I can get an extended battery for the Eris to work in this device.
Thanks!
