Using Outlook.com to Keep Up With Your Holiday Deliveries

Now that Black Friday is upon us, many of you surely have gift deliveries on their way to your home. And if you’re like me you probably have an inbox full of shipment tracking notifications and updates. If you aren’t already using Outlook.com, you’re missing out on the best way to keep all of your shipping information organized with Outlook Active View.

First, you will notice that Outlook.com automatically categorizes shipping notifications in a Quick View, appropriately called “Shipping updates.” From there, you can see all of the shipping notifications you’ve received, even after you move (or sweep) them out of your inbox. In addition, when you open any of these emails you will find that Outlook.com has identified the tracking number in the message and even provides a direct link to the shipper’s tracking page for your item. I’ve provided a preview of this enhanced view below (albeit, with personal details obscured).

So if you’re looking for a better way to stay organized during the busy holiday season, you can simply direct your shipping emails to your Outlook.com email address and let it take care of the rest for you.
