ViewSonic’s 10 inch Android Tablet
|If you are looking to break into the tablet world and don’t want to pay the $600.00 or more that now gets you the Apple iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab, then maybe heading down to your Sears Store and checking out the ViewSonic’s G Tablet for $379.99 on sale right now. The ViewSonic 10.1 inch LCD Screen (1024×600) is packing some Android 2.2 goodness as well as a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The G Tablet is only available in Wifi so you may not have the range of the 3G other Tablets, but there are always some work-arounds for situations like this like Wifi Hotspot on your Android Phone. don’t forget also that Android 2.2 is also fond of Flash unlike the iPad which is keen only to HTML5 until Skyfire completes the app for iPad.
We here at Mobility Digest are getting really warmed up to the ViewSonic G Tablet with a price under $400 beans and the features on this device. We’ll keep you posted and get a review done when we acquire one, but in the mean time, drop a comment if you own one and what you think.
The ViewSonic GTablet will also be available soon from Office Depot as they made an official announcement today via Twitter and will sell it for $399.99 as well.
