Advertising Done Right: Lumia Appears On LIVE! With Kelly–Audience Members Given a Lumia 710
What do you do when you lack name recognition? Get on tv. Microsoft and Nokia teamed up with LIVE! with Kelly as part of a post-Oscar recap where Kelly Ripa talks about the Lumia 710 and shares photos on the phone. To top it off, all of the audience members got a phone with 6 months of service from T-Mobile.
If you’re not sure if this is the right show “Since the The Oprah Winfrey Show concluded its 25-year syndicated run on May 25, 2011, Live! has been rated the most-watched daytime talk show in the US, averaging about 5 million viewers per episode according to daytime television ratings”

Nokia knows marketing better than anybody this side of Apple. In fact i’d place Nokia squarely on par with Apple in terms of marketing chops. They will sell a ton of phones this year and with the Lumia 900 push that will lead to massive holiday sales of their next wave of devices that will arrive with Apollo.
why they did not use 800 for this is beyond me.
Markiz, the 800 is not widely commercially available in the US.
