imageLet’s add another third party app to the list of Windows Phone turn-by-turn voice navigation alternatives. The latest s called Drive On. Here’s the description:

Drive On is currently at Beta stage for US. Drive On provides turn-by-turn voice activated navigation and other necessary and convenient features listed below to makes your drive enjoyable.

• Automatically recalculates the route and shows new directions when you get off course.

  2. Can someone explain how 3rd parties are doing this and Bing can’t? This is maddening, actually. Bing is a downgrade from my Windows Mobile 6.5 device.

    This app looks good, but we still can’t search for a Contact or even press and hold an address in other parts of the OS and send it to the app. I just want a normal GPS/directions app that is standard on all other smartphone devices.
