No More International Fees For WP7 Users
People who were buying apps for Windows Phones who were international were forced to pay an international transaction fee. This fee was at times as much as the app fee, thus doubling the price of each app that they were purchasing. It made it unatractive to buy apps and was annoying/offensive to those who were affected. Well, it looks like MS has finally resolved this issue. The solution? They got local processing facilities to process the payments. Now it’s unclear if this applies to all international users, but at least Australians can go ahead and buy apps now.
This still leaves the hidden conversion tax, but it’s a start.
