Text/Email While Seeing Ahead of You: Optimus 7

I’ve always thought that the iPhone app that triggers the camera and lets you have the background of the text/email screen as the camera was a neat idea since so many of us walk and tap away without looking ahead of us (we think we can sense the next step). Well, the LG Optimus has an app called Look n Type that lets you do that. You can text/email and even Tweet from within the app and you can choose different fonts (so you can choose one that works relative to where you’re walking). It’s free for the Optimus 7 but don’t expect this to come to other Windows Phones. MS has not provided a camera API (really guys?) so for now if you’re into this you have to go LG.
