Big day for Microsoft pushing Windows Phone 7.5. As of tomorrow the Windows Mobile Marketplace (that’s WM 6.5 and earlier) will be discontinued so you can no longer get apps from it (of course you can still side load and use third party vendors). For Windows Phones it’s an even cleaner break though. If you don’t upgrade now to Mango (7.5) then you can’t access Marketplace. This forces everyone to use the latest software but more importantly it enables Microsoft to use xap encryption that are part of the 7.5 update.
