American Airlines Flight Delayed 3 Hours Because of WiFi Hotspot Name

American Airlines flight 136 leaving LAX heading towards London was delayed when an alleged passenger changed the name of their WiFi Hotspot to the “Al-Quida Free Terror Network”. Concerned passengers as I would have been brought the information to the flight attendants attention which caused the plane to taxi to remote part of the runway were American Airlines claimed they were taking a look at maintenance issues and then later stated that it had a terror concern.

It’s not clear if officials ever figured out which passenger caused the concern but they went on to say that no crime was committed. not really sure how they came to that conclusion because of the massive waste of time and money they caused but no further action was taken.

The flight was then delayed until until Monday at 1 pm the next day. "After further investigation, it was determined that no crime was committed and no further action will be taken," the airport said in a statement to Eyewitness News on Monday.
