Drag and Drop Silverlight Into WP7

Channel 9 has posted this video with Richard Costall who is a Microsoft and Silverlight MVP who was showing off a simple Silverlight game called Manic Miner. The game won’t blow you away. The impressive part (around the 7 minute mark) is how easy it was for him to convert the Silverlight to WP7 and he states it’s a literal drag and drop conversion. it needs a little work on controls but the point is just how simple it is to take a Silverlight project and turn it into a WP7 project. In fact, he did it while sitting at a Mix10 session. This is furthers the argument that apps will be aplenty with WP7 and out the gate we can expect a lot of apps and games just by porting what already exists.
