Google Scraps Their Two Mysterious Barges

It has been some speculation for a while now on what Google had intended to do with their two barges off the coast of San Francisco and Portland, Maine. Only adding to the fire was that Google would not tell anyone what they were up to. Was it a new Google X gambling facility? Google X secret ping pong training center? No one knew but the US Coast Guard and inspectors didn’t like the idea of having 5000 gallons of fuel and a lot of other very combustible material on board. Google has since scrapped the two barges and is now claiming they were going to be used for showrooms. Right showrooms.
