HTC Desire HD and Incredible S users your Gingerbread is ready to serve. We know that, most of you have already Android 2.3 Gingerbread on your phone (of course, via XDA) but we’re sure, you definitely would like to try the official ROM.

So, power up your phone and and check if you have got any update notification, it’s a FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) update. Once updated, the firmware version number should be 2.36.405.5 for Desire HD and 2.12.405.7 for Incredible S.
