HTC One Owners Getting Burned on Jelly Bean Update
Well that stings, having to wait forever to get your sweet HTC One updated to Android’s current release finally only to discover that if you go to sleep with it fully charged you’ll wake up to find it dead, as is being angrily reported in forums like this. Both AT&T and T-Mobile users are reporting this. Hey HTC, you’d better fix this quick.

If you read the Thread carefully a FEW Users of the “HTC One S” have their GPS remain on along with WiFi more often than before the Upgrade; due to WiFi Calling being enabled.
By simply switching off WiFi Calling these HTC One _S_ Users obtained the prior levels of Battery life they experienced before the Update.

Noting to do with the “HTC One” which is a different Phone.

Showing a corroded Battery and saying “you’ll wake up to find it dead” in your Article goes too far. Saying “Hey HTC, you’d better fix this quick.” is also un-needed; People need to read what an Update does and disable Features they do not want.
