Microsoft Premieres WP7 + Win7 + Xbox + Kinect Ad During NFL Today
|Microsoft has some new spots airing tonight (turn on the SNF game and you’ll definitely see it a few times). This ad shows an Xbox with Kinect, beings filmed with a windows phone and then edited on a PC with Windows 7. Of course, on YouTube Microsoft describes it as “http://microsoft.com/family – While dad is playing Dance Central 2 for Xbox 360 with Kinect, his kids capture his moves and edit them into a hilarious Movie Maker video. Thanks to Microsoft, dad’s funny dancing can be watched over and over. It’s a great time to be a family”. Maybe they don’t know that when speaking about your own products you plug them…like by name. Anyway, here’s the ad:
Still, it gives hopes that Microsoft is beginning to understand what an ecosystem is and putting it all together. What do you think?
They should buy Super Bowl prime time too.
Xbox, Kinect, WP7 phone, Windows 7 Laptop and a Windows 7 all in one desktop…
That’s a lot of stuff going into the production of a quick silly video of dad pretending to play a video game…
