Nexon Mobile Launches Combat Arms: Zombies for iOS

Hmm.. this game looks wild. It’s new for iOS and it’s obviously called Combat Arms: Zombies and it uses the Unreal Engine 3 so it should be a decent first person shooter I would think. I know the graphics look really good, and if I had an iPad I’d be all over it. Price is normally $6.99 but right now it’s $4.99 and there’s a special offer where if you play the game for a month you’ll get a code to redeem to get Combat Arms for the PC. Free is cool and all but aren’t they mixing Apples and PCs here? I guess not as Combat Arms is a PC game, I guess that’s just too bad for you Mac users….

Nexon Mobile Corporation has launched “Combat Arms: Zombies,” the first 3-D first-person-shooter (FPS) that utilizes the Unreal Engine 3 in the Apple App Store today. Currently, it is available on all iOS devices, including the iPad, iPod and iPhone. It will be available on Android devices early next year.

“Combat Arms: Zombies” provides entertaining content that mimics that of the PvE (Player versus Environment) “Fireteam Mode” in the PC version of the game. With the help of the Unreal Engine, “Combat Arms: Zombies” exhibits stunning visual graphics.

In addition to boasting superior content and graphics, the game is the first FPS for mobile devices that supports five controls and allows users to explore the diverse attack patterns of 3-D Zombie Mode. The in-game arsenal is packed with high-intensity weapons mirroring those used in real life combat. First previewed by the public at G-Star 2011 in November, “Combat Arms: Zombies” received positive feedback from booth visitors who participated in a hands-on demo of the game.

To celebrate the release in the App Store, Nexon Mobile is offering “Combat Arms: Zombies” at a special introductory price of $4.99, discounted from $6.99, until Jan. 13, 2012. Additionally, those who download and play the mobile version for one month will receive game codes to redeem in the PC game, “Combat Arms,” for specific in-game items.
