Nokia Sells New York Office and Loses 18M On It

Troubled Nokia is making the news today for liquidating one of it’s 27 US Office Properties in New York. The 102 Corporate Park Drive Office originally acquired for 30 million was just sold for only 12 million. Taking a 18 Million dollar loss is not a pleasant pill to swallow but it looks like that is Nokia’s best medicine these days is to cut the fat where ever possible. Losing 18M however is just a drop in the bucket for Nokia who posted a first quarter loss of 1.2 Billion and only got worse in the second quarter with a loss of 1.7 Billion.
