Swype Beta 2 released for Jailbroken iPhones

Yesterday we got word that Swype was finally ported over to the iPhone not in an official capacity of course, but in the hacker developer world we all know and love as Cydia. The initial port had a variety of bugs and accuracy issues but a tweet tonight from Andrew Liu, the developer trying to get Swype to work just announced that the Swype app is now in Beta 2:
Head on over to Cydia and download Andrew’s repository and check it out for yourself. I started using Swype back in my Windows Mobile days and absolutely love it. Android owners to will tell you how great it is. Now it appears we can all share in the Swype goodness!
The new version works much better, but it really makes normal typing difficult. There is still a long way to go before this is a viable replacement for the standard keyboard.
Chris do you have the newest version with the new word correction? I just wrote this comment using it with only one mess up. I approve of the newest version which is 0.3.0 |thumbs-up|
