Twitter for iPhone gets updated

iPhone owners got a nice treat today as Twitter announced a new update that is available now in the App Store. Twitter changed the interface to an all new design that now has four tabs across the bottom which are Home, Connect, Discover, and Me. The update offers a “Faster, simpler way to stay close to everything you care about on your iPhone.”

The Home button is where all your subscribed Tweets will be and the first tab to the left on the bottom. The Connect Tab is where you can find who followed or mentioned you, retweeted or favorited one of your Tweets. The third tab is the Discover where stories and trends are found as well as Twitter suggested friends to follow. The Me Tab is pretty obvious and has Direct Messages, Drafts, Lists, and saved searches as well as your profile. You can also switch accounts here too.

I really like the new look and so far, haven’t run into any bugs. Head on over to the App Store now and start Tweeting and make sure or catch our feed on Twitter!
