Two great games have been re-released in free versions. The first is Vizati which now has Vizati Zero to complement it. This is a puzzler where you need to rotate, flip and nudge the board just right to get stones of the same color to align. If it sounds familiar it’s because this game is also available for your Xbox and on iOS devices. Here’s what it looks like in action:
The paid version (for $1.29) includes two modes. “You can play the Story Mode and follow the story between Julie and Peter who discovered the Vizati cube, or play the Arcade Mode, which is a rawer, faster and even more teasing mode with special stones.” The Zero version does not include the arcade mode.
Next up is TapSplosion which is a ridiculously fast moving game where you need to maneuver to avoid being killed. Just check out this footage:
Here’s the official description:
In TapSplosion, you tilt your phone to control the player and tap the screen to place explosions in that position. You have to battle an oncoming enemy hoard which is constantly increasing in size and complexity and always tracking you down. If one of these enemies touches you, you will explode and it’s game over for you! You get points based on combo kills, time alive and number of enemies on the screen and you can submit your score to global leaderboards and compete with other players from around the world!
The free version is ad based (as opposed to $1.29) with a slightly smaller game paly area because of the ads.
I tried the trial mode on the full version and it’s definitely addicting. The game play is fast and it keeps your eyes glued to the game. Once you start to learn a little of the strategy of staying alive you find yourself going back to it time and again. Definitely check it out and you can choose which version is right for you.
