Windows Home Server goes mobile with Windows Phone App
|Another announcement from Microsoft this week at the CES is the soon to be released Windows Home Server App that is coming soon for Windows Phone. What’s really cool about this app is that it will allow you to use a Remote Web Feature that will let the user access multi-media content hosted on their server and play it from an app on their Windows Phone Device! This would be an awesome way to access movie content if streaming NetFlix or Hulu is not your cup of tea.
Even though the Windows Phone App was announced at CES you are still going to be waiting for Microsoft to release the Next Version of Windows Home Server that is code named “Vail”. Look for Vail to be renamed and released in the next few weeks. For more information head on over to Windows Home Server Blog.
Thank Ramon!
