WP7 Demo: Snap A Pic, Convert To Text, Translate Then Read Out Loud
“TranslateIt allows you to translate this text on pictures (optical character recognition), to simple translation and listen to the translated text.” Yup, this is the trick that Google Goggles can do, but here it is on Windows Phone 7. The video is in French (I could use the app now to translate it) but it’s pretty simple to understand what’s happening and the app itself is actually written in English. You clearly see them snap a pic, translate it and then speak it out loud in a new language. You can even type text into the app to let it translate it. Looks straightforward.

pretty nifty. im taking a spanish class currently and that might come in handy
I just downloaded it, but it doesn’t have an option for taking a picture??? Is that a future feature?
@Jeff: Translate It is not TranslateIt…I jsut looked at the app you bought and it doesn’t look like this app. I don’t think thi app is in marketpalce yet in fact.
When will this app be available for download? I want it really badly!!
