Prosecutors are saying that 35-year-old Kariem McFarlin, of Alameda California most likely did not know he was breaking into the late Steve Jobs Northern California home and attempting to make off with 60K worth of property. The Palo Alto home of Steve Jobs was burglarized on July 17th but Santa Clara County prosecutor Tom Flattery has not said if it was property belonging to Steve Jobs or another family member. The house has been surrounded by a construction barrier in July.
Mr. McFarlin is still sitting in the slammer awaiting an August 20th court hearing. Bail was set at 500K.
