Who: Anyone eligible can enter*. Just grab your video capable mobile phone** and shoot a video of the sights and sounds that make your summer buzz. An ideal summer afternoon. Your hometown. Vacation spots. Whatever! Make it 60 seconds or less and submit as many times as you wish.

    When: Now through August 31 (“contest period”). You have until Aug 10 to submit video for the contest. A winning video selection will be judged each week. There is no limit to the number of times any individual can enter, though they cannot re-submit the same video in the same and/or following weeks during the contest period.

    Where: Entries can be submitted at http://www.youtube.com/sandisk. The winning videos will be showcased on SanDisk’s YouTube channel and will be available for downloading at www.wakeupyourphone.com.

    1 Participants have the chance to win each week during the contest period; by submitting their videos (Friday through Thursday, except in the first week where submissions will be accepted on Thurs July 2). A winning video selection will be judged each week (Friday through Sunday). There is no limit to the number of times any one individual can enter, though they cannot re-submit the same video in the same and/or following weeks during the contest period. Each week, twenty-five (25) video entry winners will receive one (1) 16 gigabyte (GB) microSDHC card (to add memory capacity to their mobile phone (with a card slot) to store, share and enjoy thousands of digital photographs, or songs, or hours of video); one (1) MobileMate™ Micro Reader; and one (1) Contest T-Shirt. Out of these 25 video entry winners, one winner will be given the First Place Weekly Prize of $1,000. Participants can win only one First Place Weekly Prize during the contest period. All of the five (5) First Place Weekly Prize winners will be re-judged and one (1) will be awarded the Grand Prize of $5,000.
