AT&T cleaning house for the HTC Titan by dropping HD7s to $0.01
|If you are looking for a good deal on a Windows Phone device then check out AT&T dropping the price on the HTC HD7s from $99.99 to just $0.01 with a two year contract. Even though AT&T once again missed the ball on the HD7s and watched while T-Mobile got it first, it could be the result of slow sales or the cleaning the AT&T shelves off in preparation of the HTC Titan that is due out soon. The Titan, sporting the Mango Windows Phone 7.5 update, looks to be more than just a handful with it’s 4.7 inch screen, but packing a 1.5GHz processor and a 8mp camera.
The HD7s is still a great device but missing a front facing camera. It however has a slightly smaller screen with a 4.3 inch display. Head on over to AT&T for more information or to grab a HD7s for one penny.
Seems to be a good deal but I wanted to hold on until Nokia announce something
Would have been an amazing phone a year ago, had AT&T been smart enough to add this model to its launch lineup. I waited, and got the Focus on a similar deal. I have never been happier with a phone!
Sit the Focus or any other AMOLED-equipped phone next to an HTC device, and the difference in screens is simply amazing. The HTC phones look like a 25-year-old color TV. The Samsung screens look like the very best Plasma TV you can buy.
My next phone will be the Focus S just as soon as I can order it.
For me on AT&T, it was easy at the time:
Keyboard on the LG was lame…
Slideout speakers on the Surround was nice…
…but WOW that screen on the Focus is amazing!
Its deals like this that make me think the iPhone pricing scheme is flawed. Unless carriers push an outdated product (3GS) there are much better Android and Windows Phones to be had.
