Evernote partners with Moleskine to bring together analog and digital
|I love Evernote. I avoided it at first, thinking “psh! How silly.” I’ve eaten a lot of crow since. I have it on my Surround, my netbook, my laptop, my Kindle Fire. It’s great for those quick notes, flashes of inspiration, whatever, while I’m out and about.
Evernote and Moleskine have teamed up to create a physical notebook to work specifically with their new iOS app. (So yeah, this is iOS only right now.) Specifically, it uses a new Page Camera option inside the app, along with dots on the page, to help get a clear picture of what you’ve written. There are also Smart Stickers to help you associate tags and notebooks with the page.
The sticking point is, of course, the price. The pocket size (3.5 x 5.5) runs $24.95, and the large (5 x 8.25) runs $28.95 (USD). They both come in ruled or gridded.
Maybe I’ll just a cheap book and just take pictures of the pages in Evernote.
