Well, evidently I missed the Kyocera Echo, so this is the first time I’ve seen a dual-screen smartphone.
My first reaction is “WTF?” But then I think about the teen-aged generation: they’ve already been indoctrinated with a dual-screen device in Nintendo’s DS series. This will probably be Very Easy for them to deal with.
With a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8mp rear-facing camera and a 1.3mp front-facing camera, 16GB of on-board storage, and a microSD slot, this sucker is coming to Japan only.
I don’t know. I think I’d have to get some hands-on time before I gave this serious thought, if it ever comes to the West.
