Version 2.1 added an application bar and improved the way live tiles are handled.
Version 2.0 adds NOAA forecasts on each resort page except Whistler which isn’t covered by NOAA. It also adds live tiles to show current weather data for your favorite resort.
So apparently live tiles have been here for a while, but I still like it. Oh and push notifications too. Good stuff. It’s just $.99 and you can grab it here from Marketplace.
I think it’s funny how all the android trolls were bashing WP7 over at xda on the day of its release because there weren’t any after-market apps with live tiles, and there weren’t going to be because they were to expensive to implement. They also said a lot of ‘Android rulez!!!!’ and garbage like that, but anyway, it seems like there are plenty of apps with live tiles coming out, and this one seems pretty cool.
this does seem pretty awesome, it would be more awesome if they included all US resorts (really i just care about new england, but hey, the more the better)
