Looks like MS is sending around a newsletter to developers with the latest Windows Phone dev news. They state that the first round of payouts will be in January (not February as previously mentioned). Also, they are pushing apps through quickly “Today, our average certification time is less than two days. This means, that on average it takes less than two days from the time you submit your app for certification, to the time it is released to Windows Phone Marketplace.”
They also inform devs that reporting tools are now available for downloads and payouts.
Visual Basic can be used for WP development.
The ad SDK was updated to include XNA.
Bing Visual is a way to search apps. And there are upcoming dev events
So mostly things we knew, but good to see that MS is reaching out tot heir devs to make sure they get it all in one coherent newsletter.
